Holiday Sangria with brandied cranberries
For the brandied cranberries 1 bag fresh or frozen cranberries 2 cups sugar 1.5 cup water 0.25 cup triple sec 0.5 brandy 1 cinnamon stick 1 clove 1 star anise Simmer spices, sugar and water until sugar is dissolved.
