Last week our team took a break from the more tedious tasks of opening a new restaurant and enjoyed the cocktail testing phase of opening Boqueria DC. Here are a few of the concoctions we’re considering for the DC location:
A refreshing margarita with a subtle background of spice imparted by infusing the tequila with a Spanish Padrón pepper. It’s mixed with lime juice, triple sec, served with a salted rim and a pepper garnish.
A classic Gin cocktail using Hendrick’s, lemon, cucumber
and Lemon Kas, a sweet and bubbly Spanish Soda.
A twist on a Cuba Libre using Rum, Coca Cola and Licor 43, a unique liquor made from 43 fruits and herbs, very popular in Murcia, in the southeast of Spain.
